Last week I had the pleasure of having one of my photos in the PNCA BFA show. Over 500 pieces were submitted and mine was one of the 40 the jury chose! There was some great student work represented and I was honored to be apart of it. The show was expertly put together by my lovely friend Mei (check out her wonderful blog here) and the “opening night” was last Thursday for part of Portland’s First Thursday.
Before the show, I put on a maxi dress and a pair of heels (having no car means I have few practical reasons to wear heels, what a shame!) and Steph and I went to Moonstruck cafe for chocolate and coffee. I told myself once I finished The M, I could treat Steph and me to the loveliness known as Moonstruck.
I got an Espresso caramel and Steph got the Sea Salt caramel. SO good!
The show ended up being awesome. Thanks again to Mei and the other volunteers for all of their hard work. If you’re in the Pearl District area of Portland sometime in the next month, you can pop in at PNCA and go straight to the main area and take a look at all of our work in Commons. <3
Congrats on getting into the show!! :) That’s awesome! And yay, sea salt caramels! My favorite. I had a sea salt & rosemary bagel the other day and nearly died of goodness. lol…
